Some days, I have no ideas. So, I just pick up the camera, wander around and shoot, hoping something will grab me. The results vary. But sometimes, I like the way things work out.
Thanks, Joyce. It was just a happy accident, really. The plant was inside my screen porch, the sun was shining from the other side, creating the shadow and the rays. The fly? Well, I asked him to hold that pose for a moment, but that was it... :)
I have to say, Mrs. C.M., you're really knocking them out of the park lately. Not like your past work hasn't been great, but just some of your latest postings/photographs have been stellar. The chubby baby toes and the child running through the sprinkler and now this hibiscus.
I know Mr. C.M. shudders at this thought, but it's an interesting perspective - seeing your world and your life through your eyes. It's fascinating, really.
With a daily project like this, it's not always easy to catch a creative spark, nor to step back and look at how it develops. So, I really appreciate your comments, and I'm so glad that you are checking in from time to time!
I know that process well. I know the mixed results well. I too know that you occasionally get a beaut from it all. This is indeed one of them. well played.

How did you arrange this picture? Sun's rays? Fly? Screen? It's a great picture.

As for Mr. CM... what's he got to worry about? ;)
